We kicked off our 2020 harvest season today by picking our Foch grapes. This is one of the first grapes we planted 33 years ago. It’s a cold-hardy French-American hybrid named after Mare’chal Foch, a French Supreme Allied Commander during the First World War.
We make two styles of Foch wine: dry and sweet. These ruby red wines have ripe red fruits and earthy aromas with cherry and subtle vanilla flavors.
